Vicki Gunvalson Honored with Tupelo “Key To The City”

TUPELO, MS (November 07, 2014) – Real Housewives of Orange County star and business founder Vicki Gunvalson was honored with Tupelo’s “Key To The City” and made an honorary citizen by Mayor Jason Shelton, this past Saturday, while in town to cheer on the Mississippi State Bulldogs with boyfriend Brooks Ayers.
“I am thrilled to become an honorary citizen of Tupelo, Brooks hometown, and to have received the “Key To The City. I look forward to visiting again very soon. Brooks and I take any chance we get to root on the #1 MSU Bulldogs!” said Gunvalson.
“It is my great pleasure to be able to present Vicki with a Key to the City of Tupelo as thanks and appreciation for her efforts to promote the city of Tupelo, Mississippi.” said Tupelo Mayor Jason Shelton.
Ayers a longtime resident of Tupelo and graduate of Mississippi State still has family in the area and was thrilled to have Gunvalson in his hometown.
Keys to the City are a symbolic award given to individuals that are shown to have the cities best interests in mind. Previous recipients of the Tupelo Key To The City have included Priscilla Presley, Stedman Graham and Myrlie Evers-Williams and many others.
